Advice for backdated Income Support

Hi there, I'm just new here and I'm hoping I'm in the right area or that I'm not breaking any rules but I need a little advice.

I had been on DLA for many years and was awarded it for life. While I was recieving DLA I was also recieving Income Support (with the enhanced premium) for having a child under 5. In 2017 I was sent the letter to transition from DLA to PIP's. Long story short I had my PIPs assessment, the guy was unqualified to know anything about my illness and he blatantly lied during my assessment. If he asked me a question and I answered yes, he clicked no on his laptop etc. A few weeks later I found out that I was turned down. No surprise there. Then again I was turned down after the mandatory reconsideration. I then applied to a have a tribunal hearing. It was pushed back a few times which brings us to 2020 and my hearing is in 2 weeks. In the meantime I was recieving Welfare Supplement payment to make up for DLA as I waited for tribunal however, naturally, I lost my premiums from Income support. I have since moved from Income support to Universal Credit because my son turned 5. My question is that if I win my appeal, will Income Support honour the 2 years of enhanced premiums I should have received while I was on it, even though I no longer claim Income Support. I hope I have explained this properly. Thank you in advance.

Income support (and uc) are not linked to pip. We had to apply separately for employment and support allowance

I know UC isn't linked but as far as I thought Income Support (IS) is linked, because you still get the enhanced disability premium rate with IS. If I was still claiming IS I would be entitled to my backdated premium's should I win the tribunal next week. However I'm under the impression that since moving to UC in Oct 2019, I would technically still be entitled to any backdated money IS owed me up until that date of Oct 19.

Yes they should. You’ll need to contact them and supply the tribunal decision. It’ll also have to go to a decision maker for the part not in the current tax year so may take a few weeks but you are entitled to it.
