The advert was on this morning, I thought they were called employment law rights or something but I can't find them on google! ANyone know what I'm talking about?

I think I know the ad you mean but I don't know what they are called either. Are you looking to appoint a solicitor or something?

Lilymaid · 03/09/2007 13:41

Have a look on this list. List is impartial, so not recommendations, only links.

I would be cautious about advertised legal services. They often aren't cheaper overall than a normal lawyer and you often end up dealt with by a 'claims handler' who isn't really an employment law expert. If you need a lawyer, I'd explore a few options before you decide.

Don't know the firm/company you are referring to though, I'm afraid.

What Ribena said. They are probably rubbish.

I'm having some difficulties with my boss since I went back to work (sex discrimination, nepotism and the like!) and whilst I've has some legal help from a family member (who is a lawyor!) I might need to actually take someone on properly. Just dunno where to start really!

Oh, and meant to say thanks, everyone!

Sorry - got distracted! And was going to say what Ribena said anyway!

Have a look in your Yellow Pages - employment specialists advertise themselves as such.
