Time for a new Fred, huns. We watch bots (people who have signed up to multi level marketing schemes which are thinly veiled pyramid schemes). We expose their lies, in the hope that fewer vulnerable people will be sucked in to buying a fake business. This is not trolling. It's calling them out on their fakery. Welcome, huns.

FL have just announced that the global rally has been cancelled. Qualifiers get a level of compensation but those who qualified under Soar to Success are fucked - their hotel and flights are their own responsibility.
Plus anyone who has booked their family on flights or booked additional rooms are also on their own. I doubt insurance will pay out either.

I seem to recall Forever recommending a particular solicitor to draw up Wills. The deceased can’t touch their business, but as Forever is a willable business they can inflict it onto someone else who will undoubtedly lose the will to live at the thought of such a bequest.

I also vaguely remember a particular firm of accountants being recommended to bots, but I can’t remember who it was. I’m sure it was in some of the literature. Mmm ...

@BSintolerant - I'm not sure the accountants in question are working to benefit FLP to the long-term detriment of the bots; more likely they are highly compliant to the bots' instant gratification urges to spend and be seen to spend on the basis that tax liabilities can be deferred through directors' loans, secure in the knowledge that the good times will keep on rolling and directors' loans will easily be paid back, hence their popularity among this particular clientele.

I think it's the right choice to cancel. It sucks for us, but it's safer this way. Large gathering, small enclosed space, not good. Id hate for someone to get seriously ill.

So, taking Yawn as an example, she will now have to cough up for her and Mr Yawn's flights to & from Sidney, as well as the accommodation for what would have been the duration of the Global Rally, or lose out on the flights and accommodation they have bought for the kids (plus whatever they booked as an 'extension'). Ouch...

Thanks White, looks like Yawn would have to pay for the hotel accommodation for herself & Mr Yawn on the dates that would have been GR, otherwise not much change.

In fact, if she chooses to go ahead, she is paying for their hotel room for a few days in exchange for not having to spend said days being exhorted to believe and cheering on people who are actually receiving cheques.

I'd call that a result, especially given that the hotel room will probably be going cheap after such a mass cancellation.

Yeah I agree. Taking kids out of school is not good so she was prob going to announce that regretfully she’d had to decide not to go, making it her decision and not drawing attention to the fact there’d be no cheque yet again.

Just sent my oh the info on this, as he knows my mlm obsession. His response is "well, that's a way of killing off a business".

Which is a thought. Can they justify sinking profits due to this? We know they've been dipping longer, but the wider market wouldn't.

I'm relieved to see they had the sense to cancel (but being cynical I do wonder if they realised not many people were going to travel all that way and were glad of a reason to cancel)

I think Yawn was going to go. Her and Mr Yawn had flights and accommodation paid by FLP, they aren't out of pocket on that. They are only out if pocket on the kids flights, accommodation for the kids, and the extra week accommodation for the extra week they were going to do.
