Time for a new Fred, huns. We watch bots (people who have signed up to multi level marketing schemes which are thinly veiled pyramid schemes). We expose their lies, in the hope that fewer vulnerable people will be sucked in to buying a fake business. This is not trolling. It's calling them out on their fakery. Welcome, huns.

My local Facebook selling page has been overrun in the last week with "join my small business" posts.
I live in an mlm hotspot and thought I'd seen them all!

Their website is full of bullshit

They're either mlm or rep based. And there's barely a distinction between the two,

The fact that people are actively recruiting on Facebook suggest that it's MLM I suppose.

It's really sad, I live in a part of the country that isn't usually associated with poverty but average wages are quite low here and a lot of people struggle. It's very fertile ground for predatory scum.

Such a damning video - bots don't believe they are shilling people because they think they are "good" people - the further down the rabbit hole and all sense of reality leaves, friends and family, husbands and wives cannot see what a great thing is in front of them, therefore they are negative and need to go... scamming people ruins lives!

Some poor, desperate mum has just posted on our local FB page about her son who is suffering from some emotional issues and is about to get thrown out of school. She’s trying everything she can to get some proper psychological help for him and was asking local people for advice.

Some stupid scam my Usborne hun pops up offering to send the woman a book to help, along with a handy link to her own website. How low can you actually get?

I would have exploded, having some experience with school problems myself.

My advice would be to phone daily until he gets the right help. Get her MP inviolved if she isn't getting anywhere, and fo it all now. Don't hesitate in getting him tested if she thinks they're may be something up, asd,asd, anything else. Don't ley anyone fob you off.

If only I'd done that. Hindsight is twenty twenty. That would make a great username that would.

It's funny when bots forget that they have an easily accessible internet presence that can be viewed by anyone.

Take Bruv who is ebaying his bike. A quick look at his ebay feedback shows that he alledgedly sold a fake item of clothing (a bot with a fake designer label, never!!) and also that he buys a lot of stuff from health, beauty and pharmacy type companies which seems a bit odd when your business is health, beauty and wellbeing surely

Yup....I did 🤦‍♀️ and then received an immediate friend request and pm. Thankfully she was on a 'friend collecting' mission as she'd just signed to a new company so didn't notice (or care) when I didn't accept.

I once viewed Uber's Facebook story and very soon after a message popped up saying "I noticed you looked at my story, do you want to take a look at what I do?" or something to that effect. Doh!
