What credit limit do you have on your credit card and do you regularly use your card or just have it as a back up for emergencies?

John Lewis Card limit £7000...used daily and cleared each month...usually about £3000 month . Dh has the same...he spends about £1000 a month. We get loads of vouchers.
I have a Halifax card which is only used when abroad....£5000 limit.

£900. I'm using it to pay for a holiday in instalments then paying it off with savings so I don't incur interest. It's the first one I've had in 15 years (holiday AND credit card). I'm a bit scared of it. I'll chop it up when the holiday is paid for I think.

I have one with a 2 or 3k limit. At most there might be 1-200 put on it but always paid in full. When I tried to get an increase a few years ago to buy new white goods for new kitchen I was refused as they felt 2k was enough. In my case the limit wasn’t automatically raised and they refused to increase it when requested. I only wanted to use it because of the protection that credit cards offer.

The credit limit on my card is 15 thousand dollars. I keep this for emergencies. Recently, I had a serious problem with my card due to the fact that scammers tried to deceive the online store using my personal data. To be honest, I don't understand where they got my data from. They called the online store and demanded a refund for the purchase. Employees of the store called me to find out the details, I was in shock. I Googled a little bit about this and even found articles carding for noobs , can you imagine? If you are interested, you can read it. Be careful and attentive.

£5k, £6k and £7.5k.

One of them has only been used once. We took it out when we bought new sofas, because we got an extra 10% if we paid for them on the company's own store card. We paid it off in full within a couple of weeks, and have never used it since.

I use the other two for groceries occasionally, just so there's some activity on them, and pay them off in full each time.
