Utility warehouse

Just had a lady knock on the door and give me a leaflet about utility warehouse. I have just had a quick google and it all seems a little bit too good to be true? The reviews are obviously all going to be very good because it seems if you become a member then you make money out of getting other people to sign up which always makes me a bit wary.
Does anyone have any honest opinions on utility warehouse and whether it's worth switching?

My friend has been with them for years. She was struggling for money and these really helped her out when she needed it. Didn't realise it was an MLM though.
I met a rep of theirs at a car boot and she wasn't pushy at all. Only reason I haven't signed up is I forget they exist so end up renewing as normal myself. Will consider them when I move house and have to start from scratch.

I'm with UW. I have no issues with them. Their customer service is very good.
My sis in law is a rep and has been for years and isn't pushy to me or anyone else. I don't do pushy, so if she was there would be no way I would have gone with them.

I am another who would never give any money to an MLM. I would avoid at all costs.

We've been with Utility warehouse for about 20 years.

No you haven't.

The rep wasn't pushy in the beginning but her 'aftercare' is a bit keen.

They are fine. Cheap and efficient. But their mobile contract does not include overseas roaming packages, so it can be very expensive if you need that. Info from about 3 yrs ago.

@avroroad well you're obviously trying to be clever but they've been around since 2002 so not that far off if the pp has been with them since the start.

I'm not trying to be anything.

I have been a customer for years. They aren't always the cheapest but if you ever need help, tech support etc it is easy to speak to a human being .
