Will my monthly repayments automatically reduce? I'll still hopefully stick to the same amount or overpay anyway but it would be nice to know if I ever got stuck or lost my job etc I'm only expected to now pay say £380 per month and not £400...

Given your mortgage payments are quite low, I think you’d be crazy to chuck money at it while you’ve suspended pension payments. Something more balanced where you’re still paying into a pension would be better.

On overpayments, you need to check your contract. Mine automatically reduces the term unless it is 3x the monthly payment.

It really depends on the company. I am with Leeds building society and am able to overpay by 10% per year but in addition i can keep my repayments the same rather than having to reduce them so in effect am overpaying by more than 10% as there is then a monthly overpayment too. Interestingly i have made 10% lump sum overpayments in two subsequent years but my monthly payments have been allowed to stay at the original amount.
