Child trust fund and UC

Just a quick question but I'm pretty confused and can't seem to find a definite answer anywhere.

I began claiming Universal Credit in September after my husband moved out suddenly and am only now starting to sort out my finances properly. I am under the threshold for savings but have suddenly remembered that my daughter has a Child Trust fund we set up 15 years ago not long after she was born. I can't access it, it can only be accessed by her and only when she is 18. The account is in her name and I am named as the registered contact.

Would anyone know whether I need to declare this please and whether it would count as capital or not?

I would declare it but I don't think it would class as capital unless you can access it.

It isn't your money...

No. You don't need to declare it since it's your child's account not yours and you can't access the money.
