Hi, how much do you all spend a week on food, clothes, essentials ?
I have 2 kids and I want to set my self a weekly budget I was thinking £100 a week ? Is that doable?, I'm fed up of constantly being in my over draft and credit card.
The £100 doesn't include bills such as contract, virgin, water, G+e and nursery fees or rent it's just for everything els

The 'what others spend' question is so variable, it's unhelpful as people have different incomes, essential outgoings, priorities etc etc.

Whether £100 pw is enough will partly depend on the age of your DCs and lots of other factors. The best thing to do would be to overhaul your budget from scratch rather than plucking figures out of the air:

Use money advice service budget, then you can input all your outgoings and see whether the budget is realistic

But why not draw out £100 in cash and see if it lasts 7 days once all other bills are covered
