How much £ to charge?

Basically, I"m in a position to pass business onto another business.

They've actually contacted me suggesting it.

Just wondering what's the going rate for charging?

Basically, I'd be finished with the client, but they'd then benefit to the tune of £120 a month from me passing them on.

Any advice?

20% as a finders fee I'd suggest as a start. Rounded to £25. You'd need to know they'd still make a profit charging net £95. Would they?

Ok thanks, that helps.

Yes, it's coaching. I've gone as far as I can so at the minute I make £120 a month from the client. To pass them on, they'd make £120 a month from that client.

Is this a company you can stand behind? If you needed the service, would you use them? You sont want to link your name to theirs if you dont fully trust them as a company. If you do then see what they say about agreeing your founder's fee. I think you will need to tell your clients that you are being paid for passing them on

I think I obviously need to meet them first and see what I think of them. They look good/sound good - good reviews. I can't get any business from them, but they could benefit from potentially 3 clients a year from me (so a good £4k+)

It's just whether I charge a one off fee, or monthly

Oh so not a one-off £120...

In that case assuming a potential £1000 per client use that to calculate your finders fee. £100 per client with a further £100 if they have more than three sessions?
