Maternity Allowance, 26 week rule question

Confusing post so bear with me!

Hi, I'm a 3rd year uni student who is due at the start of June 2020. In my 2nd year, I picked up bits of adhoc work around my uni course (invigilating and notetaking for 2 different universities through Unitemps) as well as working a 4 week teaching post in the summer months and having a Sat job.

My test period for maternity allowance (not entitled to SMP) is Feb 19 - June 2020. Over this period I have been employed by 4/5 different employers for my adhoc jobs. But do these 26 weeks have to be with 1 employer?
,
For example - I did notetaking and teaching through Unitemps for 1 university for 18 week and invigilating through Unitemps for another university for 26 weeks. Can I put my earnings down for university 1 as they're higher even though I only worked for them for 18 weeks?

Thanks in advance to anyone who thinks they can help!

I'm sure you can have different employers and you pick the weeks with the highest earnings which dont have to be consecutive

www.gov.uk/maternity-allowance/eligibility says:

In the 66 weeks before your baby’s due, you must also have been:

  • employed or self-employed for at least 26 weeks
  • earning (or classed as earning) £30 a week or more in at least 13 weeks - the weeks do not have to be together

You may still qualify if you’ve recently stopped working. It does not matter if you had different jobs or periods of unemployment

Yes, I think it's 26 weeks regardless (ie doesn't have to be continuous and can be 18 weeks in 1 job and 8 in another ) but because it doesn't state that it doesn't have to be continuous, I'm worried.

See the highlighted bit above

Thanks, I just called to confirm and they said yes, you can have as many jobs as you want for those weeks and you don't have to be employed by an 1 for 26 weeks as long as you are employed for 26 weeks. Phew.
