Pension of £170,000 aged 50. Is that good or not?

I am 40 now, and if I pay the max into my workplace pension and the max into my LISA I will have a pension of £170,000 aged 50. Absolute best case scenario.

Is that any good do you think?

Also what would that be a year to live off?

I'll aim to still work age 50-60, but my earning potential isn't guaranteed so might go down.

I just wanted to know what I'm aiming for really and how realistic it is?

You can have a Pension Wise appointment. They will go through all your options with you and explain what you can and can't do. www.pensionwise.gov.uk/en they can also explain how annuities work and also explain anything else you don't understand. You don't need to make a decision about what you want to do but they can give you steps you might want to take to achieve whatever it is you feel is best for you.

Research by Which shows that an annual net household income of £26,000 is required for a 'comfortable' retirement. That is for a couple.
I'll see if I can link to the page...
