Tax credit renewals

Does everyone get their tax credit renewals today?

I only went on tax credit middle of last year so this is my first experience. I thought you had to do it in July but I've got a letter through today. Is it just me who got it or everyone?

They stagger the renewal packs so that the call centre and renewals team isn't overwhelmed, but everyone has to complete it by 31st July.

It's staggered, alphabetically I think.

Oh I see. I guess that would sense if it's alphabetical

Bit worried they'll say I have to pay something back now

I hate tax credit renewals. I always get mine around May/June and somehow I always owe them. Still to this day I never know how, as I advise of any changes on the day it happens and always get a letter through to confirm the change has been updated.
My pension payments are my next battle as the way they are taken is not the typical way. So at the moment it's showing I actually earned a lot more and made no payments.
Hope it all goes through OK xx

Thank you.
My p60 does say I earnt more than my last p60. (Did ring and tell them when I got it). But it's cos of commission which obviously varies anyway and last year I had a bit of wage rise. They knew about the wage rise cos you could see in my payslip (and that I got commission) I sent them and in the forecasted payments for the next year they predicted I'd be paid less this year. I guess we'll see. Not a lot we can do

I always phone if my salary goes up or down by more than a couple of hundred pounds a year. I always document the date and time and who I spoke to as well. Been in the tax credit system for nearly nine years now and haven't had any nasty surprises. So far My cousin however 'forgot' to tell them she had a house up north she was renting out when she moved down south and then was surprised when they found out and she owed them money 🤷🏻‍♀️.
