Best no fee foreign purchases credit card

Looking for recommendation for a Best no fee foreign purchases credit card.

We use the Barclaycard Platinum Cashback credit card. No fees abroad for purchases or cash withdrawals.

Not a credit card but a Starling account has been great for us. No charges for use abroad and just a bank account you can transfer money into.

We have a Santander zero credit card which we use for purchases (esp car hire) plus a Monzo card each for cash withdrawals - the Monzo app is great and updates live (although exact amounts change slightly).

There is a £200 monthly limit for free cash transactions & then it’s something like 3%.

do you have to top up the card with £ before you can use it?

Yes you do, but it’s dead easy once set up & the money is there instantly.

This is the Santander zero credit card

Halifax Clarity credit card and Starling Bank debit card.

Both are fee free for foreign purchases and ATM cash withdrawals. The Clarity does incur interest on ATM withdrawals but

if paid off ASAP, the interest amounts to pennies. A month in Australia using a Clarity for cash and purchases cost us 70p in interest.

That is the standard Barclaycard. The Barclaycard Travel card has no fees for purchases or cash withdrawals.

Another vote for select card with nationwide, also caxton fx which is prepaid (charge at atm for taking cash tho)
