Tax Credits potential payment

Anyone know when the potential payment is paid out after the end of the tax year?

Do you mean like a balancing payment if they decide they haven't paid you enough? Anything up to 9 months later in our case. But then they always muck up our renewals so if takes ages.

You can log in online to check future payments.

It says on the letter that they will release the payment once they receive all the information for tax year 18/19, assuming when they receive our P60s. It's not on our online account as our tax credits actually stopped June 2018 as we started using vouchers for childcare but they held some back in case we were overpaid, but I'm pretty sure we weren't (as my income went down due to SMP). Just wondering when to expect it now the tax year is coming to a close.

It's a blardy pain. You have to wait for their renewal pack, so for 18-19 the pack will come in the post at some point in June or July 19. Then you can give the final details online (but not before, even if you've done your tax return on the 6th of April sharp...), then they go "oh yeah we didn't overpay you after all" and put a seemingly random amount of money in your bank account, followed by new rafts of letters adding and taking away money from future payments...
But if you've closed your claim surely it's less mad??? Can you ring up and ask?
