Long story short-my father died just over a year ago, probate is done & dusted.Due to her ongoing issues with her husband,my sister has been living with my father since roughly 2016.Now the house can be sold my sister is in no rush to leave or put the house on the market.I need my half of the value of the house so I can plan my future, can I force her-legally or otherwise-to sell the house/put it on the market ?
Thank you

I assume she is an executor? Are you? If she is not performing her duties as an executor you can remove her via a court process although now she has "intermeddled" in the estate it's not so easy. Unfortunately you need proper legal advice.

She is obliged to do what the will says, or go by rules of intestacy. If you are entitled to half she must sell, or buy you out. Give her a deadline, a month perhaps and seek legal advice

We are bother executors-as in we both signed a legal document saying we can not do anything without the other persons consent. She keeps telling me she does not want to stay/live in the house as she wants to move away and get away from her husband-they are still married-and she says she is looking daily for a flat/possible house to rent....
