I'm at the top end of your bracket! But £37k as a head of department in a small private school.

I’m in the Middle East, earning equivalent of around 130k a year. I’m 32. Would you consider moving out of the UK? There are some great expat packages out there.

Well this has made me feel rather inadequate! Aged 31 and earn 22k. DH the same age and on 40k. DC have definitely hindered my progression

I'm 45 and earn 11.2k working 0.5 as a finance officer for the Council.
It is nowhere near what anyone on here earns.
I've got flexibility, work 3 days so get Monday and Friday off.
I did Admin prior to this, which paid even less.

I did a History degree and am now a qualified chartered accountant. I qualified at the same time, on the same exams, as everyone who went to university and studied accounting... so it isn't simple like that.
