UC questions assessment periods

Hi,
So my assessment period is 19th November-18th December. I get paid on 19th December from work. So my question is do they take into account what I would get paid on the 19th December or by my wages on 23rd November?? And does my assessment period be the same every month? So 19th-18th??

Secondly if I was to earn too much one month due to having two pay dates in that month then do I have to resubmit my claim
And wait the 6 weeks again and have another interview? And what would happen if I didn't get money that month to pay my advance??

I think because I am claiming childcare I should still get something?

If your Assessment Period is 19/11-18/12 then only Wages you receive within this period will be taken into account. So if you had no Wages within this period you'd just get your full UC award.

The Wage that you're getting on 19/12 will be taken into account in the following Assessment Period (19/12-18/01).

If you receive more than one Wage in an Assessment and it reduces your Universal Credit award to zero, your claim will not close and will pick up again in the following Assessment Period (provided your Earnings aren't so high that they reduce your UC award to zero again). Your UC claim will only close if for six consecutive Assessment Periods you receive no UC due to your Earnings outstripping your entitlement.

Thank you so much @8dayweek. I weren't sure if it went on the pay date as obviously each week they calculate your wages and the cut of it the Sunday before.
