What does she have to do?
Theres 40 pages of the injuries this woman now suffers from the shunt up the bum that didnt leave a mark on her car.
It says she is a frequent visitor to the doctors and she didnt mention to the doctor her neck at any of her appointments. She said it seized up 3 days after the accident.

Anyway, does my mum just sit and wait for the court papers or???
Shes swopped insurance now.

Didnt get what year, will pick up the leetr tommrow and have a good good read of it, when mum nudged her they were in stationary traffic but on a hill, mum but foot on clutch and for some bizaree reason didnt put foot on brake.
The other person hit her at 30.
Surely if she IS suffering its not mums accident its the other?

it will all come out in the wash when she has her medical. Some of her current injuries and ailments have to be attributable to her july 19 accident

jampot · 23/06/2007 10:21

her gp notes will record when she attended at docs and what for - they have to be available to the medical expert for consideration when preparing his/her report.

Yep, it appears they are all in this letter, pages of it.....will come back tommrow with details

Can't agree more about getting legal advice/the insurers into it ASAP.

I think that she may be trying to get your mother into it, havign failed to get something from the person she had a problem with aftrwards.

FWIW, I know a person who bump another person car while waiting on a queu in a traffic light. She went out of the car, talked to the other car owner who said she was OK, but she gave her her details anyway in case she wasn't.
Few months later the police turns up to her door about an "accident" she had with that lady and where her car was badly damaged... it happened the other lady was involved in another accident but failing to know who had caused it, she just handed the details of the person involved in the previous accident! Fortunately, the stunt back fire on her.

I really wouldn't worry about it. Hopefully your mum has the details of her insurers at the time (and I hope she reported the accident then as it will have been a condition of her policy), so she should just hand the letter to her insurers and let them deal with it. That's what insurance is for.

SHE DID, report the accident and she was annoyed at the time that they did something, oh god, thank god for that.
But she didnt claim.
