Insolvency Advisor?

Dh has run his own business for a few years after some nightmare dealings with other 'partners' in the past that have left us losing almost everything. It seemed to be going tentatively well, but i have found out recently that VAT bills have been mounting [he got behind on them in the first two years of building the company from scratch, and is now struggling with back payments and current ones] There are some other issues for example disastrous supplier mistakes [don't want to go into too much detail for being recognised]. Does anyone know who we could go to in the South East for reliable insolvency advice, about whether we can continue or not, and the options available? I am really worried. Thanks.

Cane use the charity Business debt line? They will be able to help you.
Step change are also amazing too. Good luck :)

What kind of company does he run? This will vary on the kind of insolvency he can go for. Personally, unless he sees any chance of getting any money back and if it’s an Ltd I would say he should resign from being a director.

Grant Thornton in Oxford. I'm not connected to them but I used to give bankruptcy advice, and directed people to GT as they are the only ones I know who don't charge upfront fees for IVAs. Very approachable as well.

thankyou Joe.
