Looking to see if we have any claim for PPI refund...has anybody used a company they would recommend? Prefer to use a company as saves the hassle so please no suggestions we do it ourselves!

You lose 25% of your claim result if you use claims management company, for most banks etc now you can just ring up & ask, if they need paperwork signing they send it out. I rang my bank & got £2900 back by just ringing.

It’s really really easy
2 phone calls and 1 letter got me almost £2000 from Lloyd’s.
All I needed was an account number

Don't use a company - just go straight to the banks that you're going to make a claim and do it online.
Easy-peasy. 5 mins max. You'll spend more time doing it with a company.

I recently used one but they were rubbish. They still need account numbers or paperwork even though they make out they don't. Better calling up yourself or sending Martin Lewis' template to the place you think you had ppi from.

And I understand about the no hassle thing which is why I went to one. But THEY then hassle you for account numbers etc which I just didn't have. I thought they would be more use.

Booo that isn't reassuring about them hassling! Thank you for the tip re Martin Lewis' page will get over there now. Appreciate everybody's comments

Every bank has an online form that you can complete on their website so you don't even need to bother with a letter.
You might have to look at the bottom of their website as it might be a bit hidden away.

Do it yourself, look up the FCA page listing all the providers
