So loan was taken out last year all signed for in branch and money released and spent. however i have had 2 calls from the branch saying they lost my signed copy and could i go in and resign. each time i go jn the lady is not there. heard nothing for 6 months then had the agreement though the door today asking me to sign. why do they need this so badly? is it not valid or something?

Arrange to see the manager to discuss it and have a good rant especially if your already paying it back

HollowTalk · 13/07/2018 13:38

Are you repaying it? Do you have an account number etc?

Biscusting · 13/07/2018 13:39

Haha write them back and say what loan? Wink

I started repayments the month after it was drawn down. Its the same bank i have my current account with. What thebank manager do? Im interested to know if it means its not legally binding.

By making payments you're acknowledging the debt. It'll show up as received on your account, too. You can't escape it!

Harmonyrays · 13/07/2018 21:37

not trying to escape it, curious as to why they are still contacting me 9 months later

They've probably been audited and it has flagged as incomplete.

foxyknoxy30 · 13/07/2018 22:58

Like pp said probably been audited, however if they couldn't inforce due to an error on their part (work in a bank and mistakes happen as we are humans )does that mean that you wouldn't pay it back 🤔

Harmonyrays · 14/07/2018 01:06

I have every intention of repaying Grin

The manager should clear up the paperwork for you.
Complain that it's unacceptable , my oh did previously and got some interest back.
