Hello everyone

I had my little girl 7 years ago and now have another one on the way.
Question is 7 years ago mothercare had an interest free scheme where you chose your items and as long as you pay off total 2 weeks before due date they deliver your items, they also reduced prices if reduced whilst your paying off total.

Do any other companies offer this? Mothercare don’t seem to do it anymore.

You could just put the money by and order what you need a couple of weeks before you are due- taking advantage of the summer sale inbetween!

I did a big shop with Mamas and Papas last year and they offered this and mentioned that any items going into sale before delivery would be refunded. Pretty sure I’ve seen adverts in Mothercare for interest free over a certain spend.

We didn’t actually do this we just paid as was only month before due date but was mentioned. Just another thing, we bought it all at a personal shopping appointment and got 10% discount plus lovely free gift - blanket, onesie and soft rattle. So have a look and see if wherever you’re buying from has personal shopping appts A’s night get similar discount and freebie. We also went to expectant parent event with M and P and got really nice goody bag with free patterned vest and bib, soft rattle, canvas bag, unscented toiletries and it had first aid advisor and dietician etc with free fruit juice and healthy food. Mothercare did same with presentations on car seat safety etc with discount goodies although not as good as M and P. Worth looking out for.
