We've just come out of our fixed interest period and the rates have just rocketed, we're stuck for a couple of years i think with what we've got. Also prices and bills are rising but our income isn't. I've been lucky that i've never really had to budget much before - but i don't do expensive clothes/shoe shopping and we don't go on exotic holidays, well holidays of any sort actually. I need to start living more economically but a lot of the 'take fewer holidays, eat out less often' ideas are no good because we don't do that already. I have started to wtie down what I spend but it still all goes. Does anyone want to start a i'm not spending money today or i've just save £40 today thread so we can share money saving ideas. I just need some support, dd just started ballet (ouch) and it all costs money
