Switching mortgage providers... What do I need to know?

Had a 5 year fixed rate mortgage with Halifax, currently ending next month, interest rates are much lower now but I want to move to NatWest whom I have banked with for 13 years (all other finances go through NatWest) just wondering if their are fees involved when moving banks?

Any other small print I need to be aware of?

Totally depends what product you go for, even one lender will have different costs and fees depending which product.
I would speak to a broker who can talk you through the process and get you the best deal- Natwest might not be the best for you , and it really makes no difference to the remortgage process who you bank with.

There's really no benefit to your mortgage lender being the same company as your bank account. It would be silly to forgo a better interest rate just to have that little bit of superficial neatness.
