Maintenance - reduction for extra meals?

I have had £40 in total from my ex for our 2 children. Today I plucked up the courage to say he must start paying and for him to calculate how much as I don't know what he earns!
He has them 3 nights alt weeks and provides dinner and packed lunch alternate weeks.

I feel I should take this into account when agreeing the amount, but unsure what amount to allow for this? I shop very frugally so my food bill isn't typical.
Thanks

Im not sure its as linear as that is it? isn't it just a percentage of his income pro rated according to how much each parent has them?

Tell him to have a look at the online CMS calculator this will tell him how much. 3 nights every other week will be factored in not what he spends on their lunches etc. If you're not happy with the amount you go to CMS for application - they will tell you how much he should pay, you know it's right and you can keep it amicable by agreeing he can pay you direct.

Amicable 😂
I’m trying to be reasonable, but I’ve had £40 total in 15 months!
He will go ballistic when CMS get in touch (next week)! 😳

He can go ballistic all he wants. If he had provided proper maintenance you wouldn’t have to take that route rather than £2.66 PER MONTH

Cms will work our reductions for overnight, not meals. So he may, depending how petty he is, refuse to feed them on the nights he currently does if they don't include overnight stays. If they stay overnight, that will be taken into account so you won't have to work out any other reductions.

Other issues to bear in mind is whether or not you'll send clothes for overnight, and that he isn't obliged to pay anything else on top... Doubt you could be much worse off though, he sounds like a Prince Hmm

He provides clothes for them to only wear at his house! Which is actually half my house 🙄
