CMS allowing petrol/expenses costs

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and can offer some advise. My ex husband and I have been apart for 5yrs now, we share a 7yr daughter who lives with me. She spends Friday - Sunday with her dad every other weekend. The initial split was a little emotional/messy and ended up going through solicitors/court, access was set and it was agreed he would collect and return our daughter to me for various reasons. He has since left the (marital) area moving some 30 or so miles from us, he has remarried and has another child on the way. He has now put in a claim to CMS for mileage/petrol costs to be deducted from his agreed monthly maintenance payment! I have contacted CMS and informed them of the court agreement and his relocation, even taking this into account they have agreed to deduct his ‘costs’ to collect his daughter for his access/visitation! Has anybody else encountered a similar situation and if so what was the outcome? I will contact CAB for advise on how/if I can fight this but would be interested to hear of anybody else’s experience.
Many thanks in advance .

Who has told you they are allowing a deduction of travel costs? Him?

Sorry, I think CMS do allow some travel costs to be deducted and also, not sure if you're aware, but when his other child is born he can apply to reduce maintenance further :-(
