Online separation agreements? Anyone used them?

Hi,
New to this board, but hoping someone could give me some advice. DH and I are splitting up so will be selling the house and going our separate ways soon (I hope!), but I want to get a separation agreement signed before the house is sold. Has anyone used the services offered by these online companies and would you recommend them? The two I've found are www.divorce-online.co.uk and www.separation-agreement.co.uk. I'm reluctant to do it through my solicitor just because of the cost (we're broke!!!) so it's tempting to go with the online companies but would love to hear from anyone who has any experience of using them?
Thanks.

i believe divorce-online jsut refer you to solicitors (I might be wrong)

I would be extremely cautious using an online facility for something so important tbh

do you think you might be entitled t legal aid?

Hi mamaG
thanks for your comments. The way I understand it is that Divorce online sends you the relevant paperwork at a cost of £95 which you complete and send back to them for their solicitors to 'vet' and approve and then send back to you.
The only reason I'm tempted is that we've both been to see our own solicitors for advice but have agreed between us how we'll split everything now so really want to keep the costs down as much as possible!?
Anyone else out there used them?

oh i see - most solicitors offer free half hou interview, you could find out how much it would ocst? fif you do qualify for legal aid, you might get free mediation sessisn to hash out finances, then they send sol the agreement and they draft it up

it doesnt have to be megabucks

apols for typing. have durnk wine

Hi! Already had my free 1/2 hour session with solicitor and been told she charges £170 plus VAT per hour (definatley in the wrong job!!!!!) if we use her for anything else! I don't qualify for Legal Aid either so we'd have to pay the full whack and I doubt it would only take them an hour to do, so I reckon it would cost a good £500 to do it through her!
