How much help does a pregnant single mum get with a mortgage?

Hi, so me and my partner are going through a split, we have a 1 year old and im currently 22 weeks pregnant with our second. Im absolutely clueless as to what is the best course of action to take in regards of the house. Especially with me going on my maternity leave soon, I'll be on statutory pay which obviously isn't enough to keep a house. We're on the government help to buy scheme and have had it for over a year now, so would it best for us to sell the house, pay off any debts and start from scratch where I would live at my parents, in which case it would be difficult for me to get back onto the property ladder later. Or do I try and stay on the property ladder, and in the house myself, in which case would i have help paying for it? My (ex) partner doesnt earn much himself as he's an apprentice so it's not like he can afford to support both us and himself in different households. Really im lucky I have my parents to fall back on if necessary, he doesn't have that luxury so could do with keeping all the money he can to get himself back on his feet. Thanks

He will need to pay you maintainance payments for the kids. You need to speak to a solicitor. I don't know what your wage is, you would need to decide whether you could take on the mortgage on the wage you could earn and the benefits you could get, I'd say it's unlikely but without knowing figures, equity etc no -one could really say.
It might just be best to live with your parents or rent your own place. However depending what equity you get from the house you may not be entitled to claim housing benefit or Universal credit if you go onto that , if over £6k.

The government will give some help with paying mortgage interest payments. however from April 2018 this benefit is becoming a loan rather than a payment and will need to be paid of at some point in the future. You also need to be on a qualifying benefit like Income support, JSA or ESA. I'm really not sure if you'd qualify if you chose to stick with the mortgage when you know you won't be able to pay it. Yu also need to be on a qualifying benefit for 39 weeks so wouldn't get immediate help.
