in no way asking for money - I just need advice on what to do/to expect

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I was in a bit of a financial mess when I found out I was pregnant due to various reasons. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I got my act together and got into a debt management plan. It's the best thing I've done. Before I got into it I was living off yoghurts and not much else to pay my bills and have now been able to budget for the first time in years.

This month my car needed £500 spending on it to pass it's MoT. Without my car I would struggle to work which means no income. As a consequence of this I am now unable to pay for my debt management plan instalment this month. I plan on ringing them tomorrow but I'm so scared the plan will cancel and will be back to square one with no money to feed myself and in a right mess. Can someone explain what to expect?

Better to tell them about it before you speneed the money but don't worry I'm sure it will be fine as it's a necessary expenditure.

Contact your provider and inform you have have incurred costs for your car.

Ask if your payments can be recalculated for a period of time which will mean the plan takes longer.

Just talk with the provider and explain your car costs.
