My New Year resolution is to get back to keeping track of finances/savings etc.
For years I used Quicken , which has long gone and while in business, I had a spreadsheet sorted for me (luckily! ) .
I have had a quick look around on app store but I only need something fairly basic and easy to use, just so I can keep an eye on things - I don't have lots of complicated products to keep track off , and don't want to link it to my online bank .
It needs to be Mac/iphone user friendly too
Please tell me I don't need to go back to a double accounting book with pen, paper and calculator :)
Thanks !

I use Toshl premium, you can keep track of spending across all accounts and put in repeat expenses - the budgeting bit is really quite basic though. It does me though and tracking my spending and saving has made a big difference to my spending habits,

Thank you for the reply - I will go and have a look at it.
I have managed to find a couple more on another foray, so I should be set now with one of them :)

Quicken is still available, only from America so needs a few hoops but can be done.

I use Moneydashboard and have done for ages. You link your bank accounts to it so it updates automatically with spends, income etc. You can then tag things and creat budgets. It is really easy to use and simpler than other things I have tried.

Cleo is quite good, it's a bit 'idiot proof' and seems made more for teenagers but makes the whole thing a bit of fun.

Oh, more suggestions to look into - Thank you!
special - I loved my Quicken it just worked for me. I used something else , after I moved to Mac from Windows, quite a few years ago now.
I will definitely look into all of them
