Returning a faulty cooker

Not very interesting. We ordered an induction cooker and after the engineers have come out 3 times we've been told to get an exchange as it's less than a month that we've had it. It has never worked properly. The cooker we ordered was on sale and half the price of the others, but Currys said we can exchange for equivalent price or lower as they don't stock it anymore. There's nothing for that price now. Are my only options to buy a more expensive cooker or return the broken one?

Ooh, was it a Beko? I spent a over a year getting Currys to finally refund me for the fault induction cooker they sold us. They sent out an engineer at least 8 times but conveniently didn't accurately record all the issues so it didn't fit the criteria for a refund. Finally they agreed to refund me as it wasn't in stock anymore. Then began the saga of getting our refund/ having it collected. Guttingly we had to spend more to replace it. Take your money, run while you can and never give another penny to Currys!

That's sounds like a nightmare. It was hotpoint but Currys customer service didn't fill me with confidence! I'm waiting for the saga of them coming to collect it. I think we'll take the money. Unfortunately we'll have to spend a lot more, but at least it'll work.
