Am I spending too much?

Hi all, I just wanted an idea of what people spend on their monthly shopping bill (including lunches at work, take aways, etc). I budgeted for £350 for myself, husband and 2 boys (6&2) as well as three cats. This amount includes everything from food to household items. I'm now 6days away from the end of our month (we work from 26th) and I've got about £20 left to see us through!

I wash my hair twice a week. A 500 ml bottle of shampoo lasts me 14 months (I write the date I start the bottle on the label).

I use a lot of those holiday bottles from hotels as a second shampoo ( 20 ml bottle gives me 6 shampoos approx.) Went on tour in far east last year and picked up small bottles provided in each hotel of good quality shampoo!!
I condition my hair once a week - got a 300 ml bottle from Sainsburys for 50p - end of range - will last me over a year. I have short hair - have it trimmed every 8 weeks. DH washes his hair once a week - has very little hair!!
Clean teeth twice a day - get large tubes 100 or 125 ml of whatever is on special offer.
Never pay full price for any toiletries! Get loads of toiletries for Christmas - could set up a mini boots at the moment.

I spend £175 per month. Myself and dd (4) plus a dog. This includes all food, lunches, snacks, household, toiletries etc. 90% of my shopping is done at aldi, and toiletries from wilko.

@coffeeandcake7 that's really good.

My main issue in my time maintenance. For example I left the house at 7.45am this morning and I'm on the train home now. I should walk through the door at 9ish.

I put aside a few hours once a month and do a monthly aldi shop- buy everything that will keep and then 1 hour every Saturday getting fresh things. I hate the thought of running out of something and paying twice the price in a local shop for convenience !...
