dissolving my company - need to file accounts

ive applied to dissolve my company as I no longer trade. It is only 1 year old. I had a letter from companies house a few weeks ago saying they had received an objection to the dissolution - the only objector i could think of was the Inland Revenue as I had received a call from them saying they couldnt allow the dissolution until my accounts were in. We invoiced very little and not all of the money is in still.(invoiced out £1000 but with a view to negotiating down to £500). However, after paying workers (casual labour), set up costs, other expenses etc and our own wages for hours worked there is nothing left. So ridiculous as it sounds how important is it that every single thing is taken into account thereby putting us in a minus situation?

But how would the Inland revenue know that until your accounts were in? From their persepctive, the company might still owe them.

it is simplest just to produce your accounts in the same way as if you were continuing to trade..in fact I 'm sure you have to so yes everytihing goes in

is that a problem

is this the cleaning id it not go well?

yes it is the cleaning thing - it was too much hassle finding good reliable staff so decided to cut it in addition my business partner decided she no longer wanted to play after 6 months so she hoofed out leaving me with it all
