I am looking to buy hafl of a business I used to work for before having DS2. It would be a perfect source of income and would fit in nicely with family committments etc, and it alreday has an established customer base, blahy blah blah.

However, I need some money to buy it, and a look down the back of the sofa etc hgas turned up £1.64 and a couple of buttons, so I'll need a loan

Thing is, I don;t have the best credit rating. I can provide a lender with all the figures and a plan etc, but I have a feeling they will tell me to do one, as I was a naughty girl with money pre children (v sensible now.)

This is a really good opportunity for me, and I know I could make it work.

Any ideas who would give me some dosh?

I don't know anything about it but if you feel you can make a success out of it put together a really excellent business plan and go for it!

What are you thinking of doing?

I know, it's not the most interesting of subjects is it?

I don;t really want to do anything Ideally, I'd sit of my fat arse and rake in as much money as possible for very little effort.

It's a pre school music thingy. I wanted to set this sort of thing up ages ago, but the area I live in is saturated with the bloody things. However, I have now been offered the chance to possibly buy a part of one of the existing and established ones

Ok, spoke to a chap at Natwest today, they are ringing me back in the morning.

Now, what the hell do I put in a business plan?

Put as much info as you can into the business plan. What they want to know is: how can the business make money. How can you afford to pay them back.

Put as much as yourself into it as you can. Nat West especially are very keen on the person as much as the idea.

Get as much info as you can about existing businesses, how they work, and why they would not be in competition with you.

Good luck
