Can anyone suggest a loan company for me?

Hi.
I know what everyone will say but I've got
myself stuck in the payday loans trap. My dog needed emergency surgery just before Christmas and because I have a horrendous credit score (due to an ex suffering from depression and getting us into an awful situation financially) I had to turn to a payday loan lender to pay for the vet bill. My loans are to Sunny and Lending Stream and the repayments are killing me each month. It's all come tumbling down on me this month and I haven't got enough money to eat or get to work for the whole month. I need a loan of £2000 payable over 12
Months and it would be sorted, I could
More than manage the repayments. However the only loan I can get would be a guarantor loan from Amigo, but the only
person I have to ask is my mother who is too old to qualify.

Does anyone know of any loan companies that would consider me. I'm desperate and it's really affecting my health. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night and just sat up
crying.

Can you go to Citizens Advice?
Getting out a new loan probably isn't the answer. Any new loan company would add to the downward spiral.

Look into whether an IVA might be the right solution for you to get yourself sorted, and then stop using credit.

I really want to get out of this without an IVA. I've been working really hard over the past few years to sort out the debt from my ex. Including paying a landlord the 6 months rent I didn't even know we hadn't been paying until we got evicted. I was just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know you're saying that a new loan probably isn't the answer but I really could afford the payments over 12 months.

Before taking out more debt, you need to work out your budget (properly, including insurance and an amount to be saved for vets bills). If you didn't have money available to pay the vet, how would you be able to pay a loan back?

It's probably a good idea to look on the debt free wannabe section of moneysavingexpert and post your incomings and outgoings there for proper advice.

Depending on how much debt you have, and your circumstances in general, a debt relief order may be the most appropriate solution. Taking on more, expensive credit, probably isn't.

The problem is that the target outcome for any loans company is that you don't end up debt free after 12 months. Their ongoing profitability relies on you continuing your spiral into worse and worse debt.

Do you have any access to a Credit Union? These are not-for-profit and if they accept your application for a loan they won't try to upset you to make more profit out of you like commercial loans companies.

I know you may not think so but I'm afraid another loan is the last thing you need, and you're not likely to get one.

An IVA may seem like the end of the world but it may not necessarily be a bad thing.

As advised get in touch with stepchange.

Have you already made the payments to Sunny & Lending Stream for this month? If not, I would suggest that your best plan of action would be to contact them & explain you are struggling and need to renegotiate much lower payments.

Move your money to a different account so they cannot just take it. I'm not saying ignore these loans - that wouldn't work - but they are duty bound to try to help you if you tell them you can't afford your payments.

I don't know of any companies who would lend to you without a guarantor - sorry. Best of luck with everything.
