BTW - when I threatedn to do the pulling out , I was the one buying, at the bottom of the chain as a first time buyyer - so my threat did count!

If it is the person you are selling to who is causing the porblem (or thier solicitor), then I can understand your reticence.

It might hoiwever be worth talking to your buyers, to say the hwol chain might collpase if thier solicitor doesn't get moving.

My sis was told last week that they would complete & exchange today... yesterday she was told no she wouldn't. Today at 12 she was called & told, "Go ahead"

Wil be going over later to give her a hand.. think they have to be out by 5pm!

I've done it three times once no chain once we were buying from the top of the chain and the third time it failed as person two above us had a fatal heart attack 20 minutes before exchange
