If you died, would your 'personal affairs' be found to be in good order?

Mine wouldn't... even though I'm mostly quite an organised person...

DH and I were talking about this last night, and commented how, because so much of what we do is conducted online these days, the other probably would have real problems accessing bank account information/ ebay accounts etc.

Do you systematically keep details of all your passwords/ logins for everything?
I sort of do, for some of the more important ones, but it's in a code form which I haven't explained to DH.

I am so sad that I worry about this a lot!
I periodically have a life declutter because of this. I also have 15 years of journals sitting here which, in all honesty, I don't want anyone to read but I want to read them when I am old (the dilemma is I may not get that far & then others will read them).

i have fuck all so it doesn't bother me.

dh has bank details.

my mother has letters from my dad in a locked briefcase. she says she's going to burn them.

which i think i mightily rubbish of her as he died when i was 4 and i would like a little insight into his personality.
