Cost of notary or solicitor , Cambridge area?

In order to inherit a property from abroad my siblings and I need to get a document that certifies where we live and our marital status and we need this document to be signed by a notary or solicitor.
Anyone any idea how much we should have to pay to get this done? Any recommended firms in Cambridge? Although ?inheritance? sounds grand it is a shack to be shared among quite a few of us so reluctance to pay out much to get the paper work together. Thanks for any advice you might have.

I recently had to get something signed and witnessed by a solicitor and it was £6 (actually I just had to buy a nice cake for the secretaries or pay £6)

No clue as to cost but they should be able to tell you in advance

I've used Miller Sands on Regent St and also Webb & Partners in Sawston

I thought Miller Sands were better

£6 wow I'm thinking I will be lucky to get away with anything between £50 and £100 quid.
2 phone calls and an email so far so have probabaly clocked up £25 a go so far.
My brother has been quoted £195 an hour which is why I'm asking advice for him to find something cheaper.
