Mortgages and DLA??

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a mortgage lender to accept DLA and Carers allowance as income?
I'm a full time carer for my dd and very much want to buy our own place, but have no idea if anyone woud consider these as a valid income?

thanks

I think it is, I'm sure they included child benefit in ours and tax credit...

Have you tried Kent Reliance building society. They have a reputation for setting up mortgages for people on benefits.

Also, if you are on income support then IS will cover all the interest payments (but not capital) on a mortgage where the aim is to get accomodation better suited to the needs of your dd.
