Yesterday, Pershing Square Capital posted one of the most damning videos proving beyond all reasonable doubt that 'MLM' is a highly-organised criminal enterprise disguised as a 'business.'
,
In 'The American Dream Denied' some of the traumatised Hispanic victims had lost over $100k, but today the Wall St. price of effectively-valueless 'Herbalife' shares has hardly moved. It's interesting that Bill Ackman didn't go as far as to quote the whole of my copyright phrase, 'The American Dream Made Nightmare.'

Mainstream financial journalists have already described these victims testimonies as 'Distributor Sob Stories' (a reality-inverting phrase which has come straight from the 'Herbalife' Ministry of Truth).

FLhahaha love that info you've posted about Forever a few pages back.

Those figures stack up. I was told similar the year before. There were about 4000-5000 active distributors then, so was told think about the population of the UK and how untapped it is and that many have never even heard of FL (lucky b@st*rds)

Don't forget that many of the supervisors who were promoted to Assistant managers were probably also promoted to Manager and above so that cuts down on numbers too (and those figures will include people who joined the year before too)

But 61,000 assistant supervisors is crazy, look how many didn't even try realised the business wasn't all it's cracked up to be and cut their loses to get to supervisor

Slides in with a cuppa.... Yes please to some info on MK.

I was doing it about 18mths/ 2yrs. Well jogging on the bottom of the marketing plan, selling to some loyal customers who actually liked some of the products.
Started to get annoyed with training methodology, the full on recruitment process that happened in my area and the harpy upline so did some research on FL. Pretty much told me, it was scam business and top bots had no regard for anyone but milking those lower down so I just stopped.
Here's the thing.. I didn't do BPs, success days or sizzles but I still made a loss. There is NO profit in retailing products!!

Heard top bot say that those distributors who only raised 1cc each month Are "Pond life as they're in the 1cc pond" !! Nice eh!

re: MK story, Truth also contacted me by PM but when pressed for evidence couldn't/didn't provide any.

Mootpointer · 10/02/2016 15:36

cubic 'but it always involves a dispropotionate amount of admiration/worship of their guru'. Always, make them dependant and covet.
EC is prime example, I know bots who 'love' her but have never met her. Go figure

That is so funny that they think someone who earns x amount wouldn't be normal, there are an awful lot of people who earn six figures, and seven figure, and lots of them are normal!

Melaw21 · 10/02/2016 15:57

Too right Darcey Im a mega squazillionaire 25 figure parslai peddler and I am totally normal! WinkGrin

I need help/advice from my fellow botwatchers. One of my fl bots is also an NCT breastfeeding counsellor and branch volunteer for years. We have stayed in touch via facebook but today I received an e-mail from her with an excerpt below:

"I have been speaking to some of you recently and we have talked about organising an NCT get together. I have tried to contact everyone I have had the pleasure to meet/communicate with throughout my NCT journey. So I am inviting you all to my house for a get together and sharing my new business venture as well!"

Now firstly she has obviously kept my e-mail address from our NCT days which in my case is at least 3 or 4 years ago and secondly she is not using this as an NCT get together but a chance to flog FL and get more contacts.

What do I do? I'm also still friends with our old NCT Regional Manager type person who still works for the charity. I think I should contact her for advice and then maybe contact our current branch chair person, although I have no idea who that is now.

It makes me mad and sad. I really respected the bf counsellors when I had my children, they really helped me out and in that tired, emotional state I would easily have been sucked in if I thought it would help! I don't want others to be sucked in too.

stopfaffing · 10/02/2016 16:46

Get on to the Regional Manager or go even higher, and complain. I was also in NCT many years ago and would not have liked it being used like this.

Unethical and illegal too to use an NCT address list for the purpose of scamming people.

Trumpet blowing of friend has now reached a new high ..... "I could walk away tomorrow and the business will still pay me £4K pcm whether my team perform or not" #passiveincome Hmm

Eyespying · 10/02/2016 16:58

Tupperwarelid - 'MLM' cults are always looking to recruit adherents like this, with access to vulnerable people who are liable to trust them.

You should certainly report this to NCT regional management, but it might be a good idea to try to make senior managers aware of what is happening.

There must be rules within NCT which prevent counsellors from exploiting their position of trust, but counsellors will have a statutory duty of care.

BTW, I think your comment will probably get back to your Bot.

More training for my lot!! Shock

Lovewineandchocs · 10/02/2016 18:12

I remember being at a full day training session (on a Sunday) and EC was doing a live video link. That was the first time I'd ever heard of her. It was about 1pm, she was in a pair of pink PJs with her hair all over the place and she looked exhausted. She was sitting behind a desk in a windowless room where the walls were completely covered in bits of paper (volume mapping I think). She was saying how she worked every minute of every day and got "no family time, despite what you might see on Facebook." She said she was living on ice pops and collapsing at the bottom of the stairs each evening having to be carried to bed! Then she got all shocked looking as she apparently hadn't realised she was speaking to a room of 100 people who could all see her. I remember thinking "what sort of life is that?!" But there were people who thought this was fantastic. At the success day she appeared at in Ireland in Jan she apparently scared some people with her talk of working through labour, driving after C section etc so the top Bot here had to do some damage limitation by saying she was an "extreme example" of what it takes to get to the top-EC having taken less than 2 years to get to the same position that this bot was in after 20! Smile
