how do you work out what your partner should give you ie 25 %. he only gets a small wage paying off ie credit card.? debts mortgage not worth moving. rent more money.. only other thing would be sell house. he gets over thousand month not a great deal why were struggling no idea what universal credit will bring no child care between us really?. read might have have full time job or apply for jobs like job seekers. not right work part time hours flexible.

Your post really isn't very clear, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.

Do you work? Will you be staying in the house with the kids? Who gets universal credit? Who will have to get a full time job and why is this not right?

I agree your post is a little confusing.

There is a CSA calculator online which will show you how much the MINIMUM your partner legally had to pay towards the upkeep of any children.

Anything extra (debt, childcare) is down to negotiation between you both.

Also check "turn to us" benefit calculator to see what you are entitled to as a single parent.
