Self assessment....internet charges

I'm just about to do my first self assessment. I'm a consultant, generally working from home, but travel between 2 and 10 days a month for meetings/site visits etc.

Can I claim all or some of my internet bill as a company expense?
If only some of it, how do I work out/justify how much?

If its a flat fee, you should be OK.
Lots of other info on here

You can only claim for the business element of any costs. So if you use the internet, car, phone, printer etc for private use only you should estimate a private use percentage and only claim for the element of business use.

so say the internet bill is £400 per year and you estimate that you use it 50% privately you should only claim £200 against your income

Technically, yes,
but where the service is a non metered flat fee
eg broadband capable of dealing with the HMRC site is £8 per month
then the fact that it can be used for other things in between is irrelevant.

have argued the toss at a couple of inspections on exactly that point.
