DH and I need to renew our car insurance AND our home insurance within a few days. Am toying with the idea of cash back sites - does anyone have experience of doing this? Help please!

I've had almost £1k from Quidco.

There are two big ones; topcashback and Quidco. If I were you, I'd do the search for your best prices via confused + moneysupermarket (plus direct line as they're not on either), then check your three(ish) cheapest suppliers against the cash back sites to see if any of them have the money back.

Also, while you're doing it, if you haven't changed energy suppliers I'd do that at the same time - stick it into uswitch then check the cash back sites.

I have been using Quidco for just over 6 years and have had just over £2000 in that time. I agree with pp regarding doing a search regarding insurance and then going to that supplier directly from Quidco.

Dont forget to clear your cookies though :)

I dont know about Quidco, but topcashback give you cash back for requesting quotes for both home and car insurance on gocompare and another price comparison site i can't remember the name of. a couple of quid for each, but worth it if you are looking at these sites anyway.
