no - getting selling!

TwigTwoolett · 28/10/2006 19:56

no

how much do you have to spend between now and next mortgage payment

fixed costs?
variable costs?

how much could you make by selling stuff you don't need - ebay / boot sales

can you arrange an overdraft?

can you borrow something?

7up · 28/10/2006 19:56

i hate times like that when you have a major panic then after a few days i think, actually it wasnt all bad,i can gowithout this and ask for extra overdraught to tie me over. pretty depressing all the same

threelittlepumpkins · 28/10/2006 20:08

Haven't worked out outgoings between now and then, will do so in a minute.

We have £1000 overdraft facility.

Have got a fair few toys to sell, planning on registering for NCT sale, but under a load of pressure from work and haven't got much time between us to sort it all out- no excuse but still affects us.

I'm panicking over nothing, aren't I?

Our balance has been going down significantly every month though. Can't get a loan- we have one and are paying off a bit on the credit cards so can't afford more repayments. Can't see this getting better any time soon....

We were in the situation last month ( and probably will be next month when the credit cards have to be paid off.) All I can recommend is buying nothing except essentials (eg food), putting anything you do buy on the credit cards, selling anything you can, and going overdrawn. You can also try (we didn't but might have to one day) asking your mortgage lender for a break in your monthly payments. A lot of lenders allow that these days.

Consolidation? Check out the rates, at a guess you would end up paying less that the interest on your cards.
