Tax credit... Child care element?

At the moment, l am at home.
When my daughter is a bit bigger (couple years) l am hoping to return to work.
Nothing fancy, mainly fitting around school hours, but l might need wrap around care.
Our primary does not provide this, but a local place will pick them up etc...
Anyway, l have never claimed this element (no need) how does it vary from child care vouchers. My husband could get those from work..
Hopefully l have made sense. :)
Thank you.

It's based on your household income if you can claim them or not. If it's a few years away then the benefits system is likely to be completely different with the introduction of universal credit and the removal of childcare vouchers unless already claiming them, so I honestly wouldn't bother looking at the options until nearer the time :)

It is a lot more than vouchers which are up to 20 % .It is up to 75% if help with tax credits will eventually be up to 85% but dependant on income.

That's 85% with UC.
