DH has just got a new job that will take his salary to £56k plus 15% bonus, what do I do about CB? I have no earnings of my own and the CB is paid to me.

In you position I would keep claiming and let him repay the overpayment in his tax code. That does mean that he'd have to do a tax return though

From that link it looks like we may need to pay some tax on last years CB, I didn't realise that there were any restrictions on CB until £60,000 Blush
IT also looks like you can opt out of payments but still stay 'in the system' for NI contributions. Not sure if I have understood it all correctly but will phone the helpline and find out! Seems like I need to find my NI number too, eek.
