Tax Credits Renewal

SnottyHankie · 27/05/2014 19:46

I've just realised that I've not received my tax credits renewal forms yet. I'm sure I had them by end of April in previous years.

Before I call them, is anyone else still waiting for their forms?

Thanks.

An ad I heard on the radio said of you haven't had it yet you will do soon. So I guess they are coming out in stages? Haven't had one here yet either.

Meglet the renewal date is the 31st of July not the 1st.

My renewal pack arrived this morning

No changes, so within half an hour it was completed online.

I just hope, they bloody get it right at their end.

Fanjango · 20/06/2014 23:12

Yup. Got mine this morning too. Sadly DP does 2 more hours so I shall now have to find the same sort of time to actually call them and sort it out Hmm

McPhee · 20/06/2014 23:24

Does 2 more hours make a huge difference then?

I thought you could earn up to 2 grand more before they classed it as a change?

Fanjango · 20/06/2014 23:27

I'm not sure tbh. It just says about any changes in hours. I guess it may not change the outcome but we still have to inform them.

DoingItForMyself · 20/06/2014 23:29

I got mine, renewed online and got a little bonus in the bank within a week. I had updated my hours and estimated earnings a couple of months ago as I am self employed.

DoingItForMyself · 20/06/2014 23:30

Oh and later that week I got the usual amount on the usual day, so surprisingly smooth so far!

McPhee · 20/06/2014 23:45

I'd love a little bonus, but don't hold out much hope.

Fanjango · 20/06/2014 23:51

I already got one....an extra payment then they reduced the weekly amount to make up for it. Works out as less than I got before over the course if a year. Seriously skint. That money pays the household bills, well it used to Hmm

DoingItForMyself · 20/06/2014 23:51

I think it was because I had to estimate my income and then give them final figures when I did my end of year accounts. Sadly British Gas have laid claim to most of it already! Sad
