House buying and selling experts - how long do you let someone stew after they have put an offer in?

Had one cheeky offer - rejected out of hand. Straight back with another reasonable but still not quite enough offer. How long? What do I do - reveal my hand as it were? Help.

ah - hearty slap on the back for being brave!

I bet you'd have got more - they've come back quick haven't they (if I'd have been them I'd have made you sweat ) it's all a big game!

You're obviously happy with their offer so let's hope it goes smoothly from here on in.

Well, we knew asking price was higher than it would get so, we're all happy. And scared!

great stuff! don't be scared - just think, you're getting away from your 'lovely' neighbours!
