I'm only looking for general info about them. I can find advertising online from companies who offer them but would rather hear a less varnished version.

they can be great they can be crap
they have often been used in house purchases - but are VERY expensive
corporate ones - talk to a good broker
other uses .... I'd suggest finding ways to avoid them

It really depends on whether you are talking closed or open bridging Ckosed is when you have sold your house but entry date is after the purchase date for your new house This is relatively easy to get and not very expensive Open is when you have not yet sold existing HouseThis is expensive and very difficult to get
